OK--I'll be honest about this--I really love Jacob. He is such a good friend--and it seems like he would do anything for Bella.
I prefer Edward... and I think his and Bella's love is stronger than her and Jacob's friendship... I think we saw that in New Moon.
Edward is very philosophical. He's the greatest. I love this quote from him, when Bella asks in Twilight why his family rebels against their vampiric nature to feed off of animals instead:
"But you see, just because we've been dealt a certain hand, it doesn't mean we can't choose to rise above it - to conquer the boundaries of a destiny that none of us wanted. To retain whatever essential humanity we can (Meyer 307).
